- The Funky Blue is the nylonstringed blue acoustic guitar hiking with musicians and funky people around Asia.
- Actually no one really knows exactly, but what we do know is: The Funky Blue was bought second-hand in sweden back in 1990 by a certain Daniel Levander. In the summer of ´92 it was painted blue and taken to the city of Uppsala. In Uppsala it was seen frequently at parties and picnics during the years ´92 to ´98.
- We're not sure if it has been travelling before 1990. But on October 2 1998 it went together with Daniel Levander and Christer Sandqvist to Mumbai, India. That is now counted as the starting point of it's travelling history.
- The Funky Blue has been to the following places:

- The funky blue is kind of a shareware. It is passed over to a new traveller each time the owner goes home to his/her country. This new owner must comply with certain conditions. These conditions are extremely arbitrary and chosen by the owner. One example of a regulation is: It is not allowed to play songs like Hotel California or Knocking on heaven's door.
It was passed over to Rod Boyd in Georgetown, Malaysia early in January 1999, after that Daniel recognised Rod as having the soul, and being worthy The Funky Blue.
The Funky Blue was named by the american Leeta Steenwyck at Pulah Weh, Sumatra. She was playing The Mellow Yellow drum and instantly came up with the name as she saw the guitar. After this we had a Very Funky Jamsession together and Marcus from Germany joined in with his didgeridoo and the first Funky Blue Song was created.
